Xprinter XP-420B is a 4-inch label printer for air waybills, courier labels and parcel documentation.

Four inches is the width the courier and logistics industry standardised on, so this is the printer class to buy if you dispatch parcels — waybills from courier portals are generated at that size and print without scaling.

Printing your own waybills changes the dispatch process more than it sounds: labels come off the printer already scannable and correctly formatted, instead of being hand-written and rejected at the depot.

Direct thermal print fades with heat, sunlight and abrasion. That is entirely acceptable for a parcel scanned within days, and it is why courier labels use it. Anything that must remain legible for months needs a thermal transfer printer instead.
