Epson TM-T20III-012 Thermal Receipt Printer, Ethernet

Epson TM-T20III-012 is the Ethernet version of Epson's TM-T20III thermal receipt printer.

The network interface is the reason to choose this variant over the USB one. A network printer has its own address on the local network, so every till, tablet and back-office machine can print to it independently, and replacing a computer changes nothing. A USB printer belongs to one machine and stops when that machine does.

Epson's TM range is the reference point in receipt printing — the reason POS software almost always lists an Epson driver first, and the reason spare parts and service remain available years after purchase. If a printer is going to run all day every day, this is the class that justifies its price.

Assign it a fixed IP address or a DHCP reservation. A printer that changes address after a power cut looks broken, and that is the single most common cause of a POS printer that stops working overnight.
