U.POS UP-900 2D Barcode Scanner

U.POS UP-900 2D is a handheld 2D barcode scanner for retail counters, pharmacies and stockrooms.

It reads both traditional linear barcodes and two-dimensional codes — QR codes on phone screens, payment codes and e-invoicing codes — which a laser scanner cannot do at all. For any counter that accepts phone-based payment or runs a loyalty scheme, that is the difference between a scanner that works and one that has to be replaced within a year.

Connects over USB and behaves as a keyboard, so it works with almost any POS software without installing anything. Squeeze-trigger operation suits a counter where items are picked up rather than passed across a fixed window; for a busy till with a queue, consider a hands-free desktop scanner instead.
