Honeywell MPD31D is a mobile direct thermal printer, worn or carried rather than sitting on a counter.

Mobile printers exist for the jobs where the paperwork happens away from the desk: delivery receipts handed over at the door, field service dockets, route accounting, and stock labels applied in the aisle rather than at a bench. Printing at the point of work removes the return trip and the transcription error that comes with it.

Honeywell's mobile range is built to be dropped — that is the defining difference from a desktop printer pressed into portable service, and it is why a rugged unit outlasts several cheap ones in the field.
