Honeywell PC42d is a compact desktop barcode label printer for retail counters and small dispatch benches.

The PC42d is the entry point to Honeywell's desktop range: a small footprint for a crowded counter, straightforward roll loading, and the manufacturer support behind it that low-cost unbranded printers do not carry.

It prints direct thermal, so there is no ribbon and the only consumable is the label roll. That suits shipping labels, stock labels and price tickets read within weeks. Labels that must remain legible after months in heat or sunlight need thermal transfer instead — a genuinely different technology, not a setting.
