Honeywell PM43 industrial printer

Honeywell PM43 is an industrial label printer, built for production and warehouse environments rather than a counter.

Industrial printers differ from desktop ones in the ways that matter under load: a metal chassis and print mechanism, far larger media rolls, serviceable parts, and duty cycles measured in tens of thousands of labels rather than hundreds. Where a desktop printer is a consumable, an industrial printer is an asset that is repaired.

It also runs standalone. The PM43 has its own display and can print from a network or a host system without a dedicated PC beside it, which is what makes it suitable for a production line or a dispatch bay.

This is the right class of machine where label printing is part of the operation rather than an occasional task — and considerable overkill where it is not.
