Hotel room safes and storage in Egypt

Hotel safes differ from domestic ones in a specific way: staff need a documented override. Guests set their own code, and management can open the safe with a master key or audit-tracked override when a guest forgets it or checks out.

Stocked brands include LG, Smart X and AM, in digital keypad and fingerprint versions, sized from 20cm up to 145cm.

Specifying for a property

• In-room sizes (20–36cm) — sized to take a laptop and passports. The usual guest-room fit.
• Larger units (50cm and above) — suits or back-office use.
• Override method — confirm the master key or code procedure suits your front-desk workflow.
• Fixing — in-room safes should be bolted inside a wardrobe.
